SEGUIN MOREAU Napa Cooperage blends its French heritage with its American resources—for a melding of the best of both worlds.
In 1986, the company expanded to full-time representation in the Napa Valley, due to the California wine market, which had been growing exponentially since the early 1970s. The cooperage was then established less than 10 years later.
SEGUIN MOREAU’s production team of coopers, classically trained in France and Scotland, crafts barrels ranging from Bordeaux- and Burgundy-style to 500L. Oak is aged at the seasoning yards and then coopered to winemakers’ specification in Napa.
