Seguin Moreau debuted a new advancement in oak tanks: casks fitted with transparent staves. The project, which began in 2006, culminated in 2013 at Château Mouton Rothschild’s brand-new cask room.

They number forty-four tanks in total, each equipped with two food-quality Plexiglas staves. Visitors will be able to observe the winemaking process, from filling the tanks, to cap formation, to pumping over, and more. This advancement in coopering has been patented by Seguin Moreau.
